India

A friend told me, “You should stay there for months to discover its hidden layers, learn to love and understand it.” But I did not have that much time. As a photographer, I have had to learn how, in a glance, to distill the essence from the initial allure, or, in the case of India, the initial repulsiveness, to then portray the peripheral realities. I could become a small part of that world. India truly has the capacity to change everyone.
