After War

It was a couple of years after UN peace resolution (1987) between Iran and Iraq. Although, the dust of war had not been removed from people face, their satisfied smiles showed their tranquility after leaving behind the exhausting and unbreathable time of the eight-year war.

Most people were from various ethnic groups who had migrated to Khuzestan province for living and having a job. Khuzestan used to be one of the richest provinces in Iran because of having enriched sources of oil, natural gas, as well as having commercial ports.

The war started from this cities in an unequal battle to save their homeland. However, at the end of war, they found ruined places of cities, industries, and plants behind themselves. After three decades, it seems that the regret over those booming periods has always been with them!
